Hogmanay 2014 SOLD OUT
Join us for traditional Scottish Hogmanay celebrations this year and start 2015 in style at The Angus Hotel. It’s the ideal opportunity to unwind after the hustle and bustle of Christmas.
Tuesday 30th December
Settle in on arrival with a pot of freshly brewed tea or coffee and some home-made cookies, before heading off to our Leisure Club for a relaxing Jacuzzi or leisurely swim. At night, enjoy a delicious 3 course candle lit dinner in the Strathmore Suite followed by live entertainment with some music from the 60s, 70s & 80s with Scottish singer Janey Kirk.
Wednesday 31st December
Start your day with a hearty Scottish breakfast,before exploring Blairgowrie and the local area, or visit the sales in Dundee or Perth before heading back to the Bay Tree Bar Restaurant to warm up with a soup and sandwich lunch. At night, kick off the Hogmanay celebrations in style with cocktails and canapes before a sumptuous gala dinner in the Strathmore Suite followed by a traditional Scottish Ceilidh with Spirit of Scotland and dancing until 1.30am, topped off by a plate of steaming hot Scottish stovies to ring in the New Year.
Thursday 1st January
Happy New Year! Enjoy a long lie in and recover with a late Buck’s Fizz Brunch and a riverside stroll to take in the fresh Perthshire air. In the afternoon join us for the first ever Haggis Hurl in the Wellmeadow followed by afternoon tea in the Bay Tree Lounge. In the evening, enjoy our cabaret dinner dance with live entertainment and music throughout the ages with 70s Hot Love.
Friday 2nd January
After a hearty Scottish breakfast to see you on your way, we bid you a fond farewell and hope you’ll come and celebrate the New Year with us again in 2015.
