Blairgowrie is an excellent touring centre with five main tourist routes all passing through it. Dunkeld, Perth, Scone Palace with Perth Racecourse, Dundee and Glamis castle are all within thirty minutes by road.

Edinburgh, Pitlochry, Stirling, Royal Deeside, Braemar, Balmoral and Glenshee are all within the hour. St. Andrews and the Neuk of Fife, Highland Perthshire with Queen’s view and Loch Tummel, Crieff with Loch Earn are typical day excursions.

Getting to The Angus Hotel By Road

Motorway to Perth with either the M90 Edinburgh – Perth or M80 Glasgow – Perth then follow A93 Braemar, the hotel is Situated in the centre of Blairgowrie overlooking the Wellmeadow.

Getting to The Angus Hotel By Bus

Buses run hourly from Perth and Dundee to Blairgowrie. The bus terminal in Blairgowrie is directly across the road from The Angus Hotel so is very easily accessible. This terminal has buses departing regularly throughout the day. You can find the timetable here by selecting Blairgowrie:

Getting to The Angus Hotel By Air

The Angus Hotel is easily accessible from most of Scotland’s airports in Dundee (30 mins), Edinburgh (1.25hrs), and Glasgow (1.5hrs).

From Dundee follow signs for Coupar Angus and the hotel is on the right when entering Blairgowrie.

From Edinburgh Airport follow signs for M90 to Perth then follow signs for A93 Braemar.

From Glasgow follow signs for M80 to Perth then follow signs for A93 Braemar.

Getting to The Angus Hotel By Railway

The nearest railway station is in Perth. From Perth either get a bus from the bus station directly opposite or, if driving, follow the signs for A93 to Braemar.
