Dining at the Angus is an informal affair. Choose from The Bay Tree Bar and Restaurant, The Lounge or our newest dining option, The Jute Mills Restaurant. The Bay Tree offers a traditional dining experience in comfortable and cosy surroundings. The Jute Mills Restaurant is a new, large, modern and airy buffet style area with an outdoor terrace to the rear. The Jute Mills Restaurant serves buffet breakfast every day, lunch and dinners for large groups and entertainment events.
The style of food at the Angus is modern yet true to the Hotels highland heritage. The type of dishes on the menu range from Scottish landed haddock and home cooked chips to braised scotch lamb shank with mash. Dining is available all day, and from 10-5pm and our lounge service offers coffee and cake along with a full Scottish Afternoon Tea. The hotel is open all year round and welcomes local diners and groups with reservations. During the months of October to March most weekends host entertainment nights, and details can be found online.
